| About the Ride: 3-4 hours to ride. Fill up your hydropack & bring food! There's a lot of switchbacks, climbing and descending. A little bit of everything. Some spectacular views. A few technical areas. Some areas that can be dangerous along some steep drop offs. This ride will show you just how good of shape you are in (or aren't!). Not a beginner trail & you should always ride with a partner on all the trails we have on the site. We have listed this trail Int to Adv. because of the strenuous climbing involved.. If you are up to an excellent, grueling climbing challenge - continue up the trail all the way to the top of 3 Corner Rock. From the top you can see all the Cascade Mountains, a peek at the Dalles, the Gorge and Camas. A spectacular view. It's 9.5 miles up road to 3 Corner Rock upper trail. (appx 1hr) It is 2 miles (4 total up/dn) to top of 3 Corner Rock. (appx 40 min up - 10 min down) It is 8 miles - length of Lower Trail to parking. (appx 1 hr.) Similar rides: Tarbell with Silverstar.
